Regulation 1a (Music and Entertainment) April 2008. Until this date noise at work regulations 1989 will continue to apply, so you have just a couple of months! The legislation relates to all workplaces where live or recorded music is played, bars, restaurants, clubs, public houses.

If you are an employer, you are liable as the licencee and it is in your interest to ensure that your company is up to date before the forthcoming regulations come into force.
